FEES, ETC.
"So, how do you charge?"
That's pretty much the most common question I get. And my answer is: by the hour or by the project, whatever works best for you.
Some clients appreciate the assurance of a fixed quote that includes all revisions with no budget surprises. Others prefer an hourly or daily rate, especially when the project scope is difficult to define in advance.
Either way, I can quote a specific rate or project fee once I learn more about the project and schedule.
The first step: Rough draft or outline
For small projects, my first deliverable is usually a rough draft. For larger projects, I prefer to create an outline and have that approved before writing the first draft.
If the project requires developing visual ideas, I can either work with your design resources or recommend one of my talented colleagues.
Schedules: On time, all the time
Although I always appreciate having more time to work on a project, I take pride in never flaking out on deadlines.
Sure, I may be cautious about committing to that killer schedule, but once I do, I always deliver as promised -- in many cases, earlier than promised.
"You're good! You've done just what was needed on this project, to clarify and simplify. Right on, Richard!!!"
