Overview: TXU Energy serves as one of the state's major electric utilities, but they now compete with other electricity providers. To provide a viral marketing opportunity for the holiday season, the company created a holiday eCard site.

To tie the promotion to a Texas theme, a concept was based around "Texas Style Holiday eCards," which was promoted by email and on the company's home page. Those who sent eCards could select their own images, add decorations and lights, choose music, and create a personal message. Recipients could view the two "sides" of the eCard and were invited to send their own eCard to others.
